5 Easy Habits To Stay Motivated
Hello, beautiful people! Today I decided to write about how to incorporate 5 easy habits into your day-to-day life, to help stay motivated and of course, inspired!
And quite recently, I have added one of these to my daily routine. It was yesterday in fact... Which will be number #3 on todays list.
Before we jump to it, I wanted to touch base with you all for a moment.
It can be hard to follow a routine, (especially for me at least.) And sometimes I don't get done every little thing on my "to do list." This is completely fine because I know that I can just finish it the next day. Not every day is perfect. AND THAT'S OK.
Believe me, as a currently recovering perfectionist, it can be tough.
You want to go all in and accomplish all that you can. It is important to have goals and dreams. All the while being ambitious. But just remember to take one day at a time, have fun, and faith it will all turn out for the better. The Universe has your back!
However or as many of these you choose to try is fully up to you.
Here's what you might need before we start: Paper and pencil + sticky notes.
Ready to begin? Fantastic! Let's get to it.
1. Uplifting notes
Sticky notes are ideal, for this one. Now, all you have to do is simply write uplifting and encouraging sayings, and place them EVERYWHERE in your home. I know, fun, right?
Make sure to be using the colorful ones, to catch your attention, whenever you see one.
For example, I might let's say, a bright blue sticky note, and write; I am confident.
And then I will stick it to my bathroom mirror.
I will then choose a pink-colored note, and write; I am deeply loved. And this one will go on the refrigerator.
Get the picture? It's easy, it's fast and fun! I suggest placing them where you will see them the most. If you're not quite sure what to write, you can go to Pinterest, and search "affirmations" to get a good idea.
2. Meditation before bed
All you need is yourself, and 30 minutes before bed. Take this time to relax and meditate on the good in your life. Think about what brought you joy today. What you want to change for the better. The most relaxing ideas that come to mind. And visualize your best life and what you want to accomplish.
This helps me to relax into sleep. As well as having a more calm and better sleep.
Another great thing I like to add is noise. Yep, you read that right. Noises.
I typically go to YouTube and find sounds that are sometimes rain or storm videos.
Other times I choose a forest with birds singing among the trees. Or soothing flute music will do the trick.
What works best for you, do that! Calming sounds or music is definitely helpful.
3. Scripting
If you have no idea what scripting is, no worries there. Because until yesterday morning, I didn't either. Scripting is when you pull out that nifty pad of paper and pencil, as I told you about at the beginning of this blog post, and choose a list of things you want to happen or accomplish in the present tense. (As if it has already happened.)
I must be honest, I sort of have been doing this a bit longer than I thought, but didn't know what it was called, nor did I know the full extent of which to do it.
For instance, you can write down 12 things you want to have/accomplish. Think of it as 1 thing for each month of the year!
For example, I would write out: I love driving around and rocking out to music in my new jeep! It looks great and works fantastic.
Even though I don't have it yet, I want to feel as if I already do!
Get as detailed as you possibly can with what you choose on your list.
(This is easily my favorite technique for manifesting!)
4. Sun watching
Now I know you can do this one twice or at least once. Watch a sunset or sunrise!
There is just something about waking up to see a good, color-washed sunrise or sitting out in the afternoon waiting to say goodnight with the sunset.
It's peaceful, yet brings a hopeful feel to what's t come for the next day.
You don't even have to do this one alone if you don't want to. The more people that want to join, the better!
5. Little acts of kindness
Have you ever heard the term "Random Acts Of Kindness?" I first heard this expression back in middle/high school. However, I was taught many forms of this growing up.
Such as, "Treat others the way you want to be treated" and so on.
So today, and from here on out, I want you to pamper and give yourself little acts of kindness throughout your day!
It could be a full-on self-care day, or even taking 10 minutes out of your day to sip a nice cuppa while reading a good book.
Make sure to make time for YOU. "Me time" is essential for everyone.
Make today count

Currently: Watching feel-good movies, while finishing up this post. (Which I can't wait to share!)
Taking care, and might I add, eagerly waiting for my bonsai tree to show growth! Even though the seeds were planted yesterday, and it says it will take about 1-2 months to germinate. I will keep you loves updated when I see any changes.
I would love to stay and chat the rest of the night away, but considering that this post is all about healthy habits and self-care, I'm going to have to sign off so I can do just that.

This is a very inspirational post. And I love seeing something uplifting because all off us can feel down on occasion and it’s nice to see positivity. Thanks for sharing this motivating list.
