Code Red
For most nerds out there, or "Strangers" (fans of Stranger Things) know exactly what this post is going to be all about. And I'm excited to dive into this post more than ever, with the (should be a national holiday in my opinion) being today!
For the ones who know about this holiday, you can scroll on down to the rest of the post to where I have planned a totally tubular day of plans AND all things Strange! But for those who need a little introduction, I'll break it down for you.
By this time tonight, you will be congratulating yourself on a successful time for you and your party.
Be a Stranger with us!
To answer the question, what is Stranger Things day? I'll have to start from where it all began. That's right, we're going to Hawkins Indiana! Well... as close as we can that is without getting attacked by a Demogorgon.
The Netflix series "Stranger Things" was released back in 2016 July 15th. And was created by the Duffer Brothers, Matt and Ross Duffer. As well as produced by Shawn Levy. And other talented, incredible people that have helped make this beloved sensation of a show to what it is today.
While watching this series, you are quickly immersed into the 1980s. Where not only other worldly dimensions exist, but so do monsters, psychic abilities, and a kick ass group of people trying to save their friends, town, themselves and soon it seems the world. (hence the last scene in season 4)
In the fist season, character Will Byers, played by Noah Schnapp, disappears and is transported into the "Upside Down" an alternate dimension on November 6th 1983. Those closest to him, determined to bring Will back home.
Ever since then, this day has been dubbed, "Stranger Things day" because that was the start for not only these characters, but for us (the fans) too.
If you want further information about the show, you will have to see for yourself.
Now that you know the reason behind the holiday, we can finally jump to the fun part.

Celebrating the holiday!
Whether you have been a die hard fan from the beginning or just recently joined the fandom, I welcome you! Stranger Things day is a holiday I look forward to each year and even after the series ends, I will happily continue to celebrate it.
Like any other holiday, people commemorate it by spending time with family and friends, and enjoying everything that it has to offer related to. Luckily, I have put together the ultimate guide just for you!
So grab your walkie talkie, pop an eggo into the toaster and get ready for Bat-tle. Because we have a lot of ground to cover. Piggybacking is encouraged. (Also, cheers to those who got the pun and references. You're the best!)
Starting the day off right, I made an easy fun, free checklist! Feel free to save and share!
Although mornings are for coffee and contemplation, and I usually follow these set of rules, I highly doubt this applies to today.
Today, we are going to make history and make all the other fandoms jealous!
So go roller-skating with friends, (absolutely no hitting any "angelas")
If you decide to contact the Upside Down, stay safe and make sure to have a strong set of Christmas lights at the ready.
As a reminder, under no circumstances, pick up a strange creature, lure it with nougat and keep it as a pet. No matter how cute it is.
And don't forget to jam out to Master of puppets at least once! Bonus points for paying electric guitar.

Before I go, I wanted to thank the entire cast and crew for bringing this show to life. For me (and I know for many others) the world of Stranger Things has added something special and truly remarkable to the screen and to many homes around the world. Thank you all so much.
P.s. It would be great if Eddie came back for S5.
See ya around. Xx. -A
