24 Things I've Learned At 24

A Birthday Note

Hello and welcome to my little piece of the web! If you have been here before, then allow me to welcome you back!

And yes, the title says it all. This month, May 21st to be precise, was my birthday and I thought I would share 24 things I have learned in the 24 lovely years. In these years in which I have been on this outstanding rock floating in space, in which we call "Earth."

Turning Twenty-four

1. Everything seems to work itself out.

2. You have time to do, be and experience what you want out of life.

3. Don't take yourself or anything too seriously.

4. Literally stop and smell the roses, (and all the flowers in between.)

5. Keep learning and growing and evolving as a person. You will be better for it.

6. A day spent with those you care about is a day well spent.

7. Always have coffee at the ready.

8. BELIEVE IN YOURSELF!

9. Take time to be in and enjoy nature and all of its beauty.

10. Romanticize your life in all the little ways you can. (Create your own romcom.)

11. Have a wardrobe that you actually like and feel-good in.

12. Have multiple streams on income.

13. Always take the time to take care of yourself!! I can't say this enough.

14. Don't bring old expectations into new ones.

15. Don't be afraid to be confident.

16. Laugh, dance and sing as much as you can.

17. It's important to show kindness to others. Be the sort of person that will bring happiness and hope in people's lives.

18. Stay away from the "what if's" scenarios. And be present in this moment.

19. Watch a scary movie every once in a while. It's good to have a healthy scare once in a while.

20. Never let anyone tell you, you are anything less of the amazing person that you are.

21. If you mess up, know what you are human and try to fix it.

22. Sometimes the world and all of its wonders can surprise you.

23. Travel! There is a big, beautiful world out there, go and see it! (Stay safe though.)

24. (As cheesy as it sounds) Never stop believing in yourself and what you want out of life, make sure you go after it and don't stop.

The Day Of

I realize I am writing this after my birthday. And I wanted to thank everyone who has wished me a happy one, showered me in kindness and has placed a smile on my face.

Thank you! from the bottom of my grateful heart!

So far being twenty-four has been an overall pleasant experience and I am SO excited for everything wonderful to come this year!

Currently: I am enjoying a nice cup of black tea with a splash of cream in it, while listening to The 1975 music. Not to mention, I've been upping my manifesting and gratitude game lately. (Which I highly recommend everyone at least trying it at least once. But if that isn't for you, I get it.)

I am also happy to announce that I have another book in the works. It gives off an early 2000s Romcom vibes. That's all I can really say at this point because it's very new and there is A LOT of glorious work that has to be done.
