How To Have A Confidence Boost, Taking Risks and Look Good Doing it!

This week I wanted to talk all good things about how you can have an extra boost of confidence AND how to take more risks and most importantly, might I add, look good doing it!

I suppose it's time to get to the topic! I hope you, dear readers, find this helpful.


Confidence Boost, Baby!


First, we have to have an unshaken firm trust within ourselves.

To have confidence in ourselves is to have a firm trust, as by definition.

Or how else would you be able to have it in anything else that you come across?

Out of any person on this planet, you should be the number one person to be able to rely on and believe in yourself. ALWAYS.


This is where your confidence journey begins. Welcome.


There happens to be a few things that confidant people have in common or express, then those without it do.

Confidant people do not fear change. They know it's part of life. And who knows, the most amazing thing that might happen, might come from unexpected change.


Confidant people are not envious of others and their success. They know that there is plenty to go around and even cheer others on!


Confidant people are not afraid to say "no." Especially if it costs them their peace or isn't good for them in some way.

This is not meant to hurt other' feelings, but it's to help keep you safe.


And Confidant people have an overall positive mindset most of the time.

Why would you stay unhappy, instead of looking at the bright side of things?

Life is so much better being on the positive side.

Just remember, as the saying goes, "eliminate the negative, accentuate the positive."


Self-help Day


You can think of this part like self-care/help homework.

I would like you to write down three things that you love about yourself! And three goals you have for your future. It can be anything your heart desires.


Now with the three things that you love about yourself, say them three times and give real feeling of confidence into each one, more into the next as you go.

Everyone has good traits. You just have to be able to take the time to remind yourself sometimes.

It's kind of like a butterfly. Everyone can see its beauty and grace more than it may be able to. This doesn't mean if you can't see something, it doesn't mean it isn't there. It's the same with people.


Next, you have the three goals you have written down. I would like you to think about three different ways for each one on how you can get these goals in action!


For example: When I wanted to start my podcast channel, I had absolutely no idea what I was doing or where to even begin.

So, the three things that would help me with this, would be #1 Go online and research everything I could get my hands on. #2 I had to come up with a name and figure out the type of pod I wanted and what I was going to talk about. I decided "Lifestyle" would be the perfect fit. #3 I finally went to Walmart online and bought a microphone with a pop filter and a few months later, a new laptop to run everything I would need for space and editing.


These were the three things that helped me get my goal into motion and turn it into something real.

And this can work for you to!


With never doing this before, it was a risk with buying the equipment and all. But I put a firm trust into myself and took a leap of faith. (And the encouragement and support from my mom, who is my best friend, was amazing too!)

And in the end, it was worth it.


Lookin' Good


We have gone over the confidence, goals and risk taking, now it's time to the part where you look good while achieving the previous steps.

This part is helping make sure that you take care of yourself.

I know somedays it can be harder than others, but staying on the ball with what's healthy and good for you is always in your best interest!

I get those lazy-ish days too sometimes, and hey, I get it. You just have to get back into the routine that you set up for yourself. And if you don't have one yet, today is the perfect day to start!


After all, if you don't feel good about your appearance, it can be hard to have a good mindset for the rest of the day. This is your fitness, body hygiene and even what you wear.

If you have a wardrobe that you're not too hot about, for whatever the reason may be, and you are able to change it up. Then do it! You deserve to wear something that makes you feel the "wow" factor.

And if it doesn't. Throw. It. Out.


If you happen to be a music lover, create a "feel good" mix and crank it up, girl!

I'm talking full on happy dance.

Do things throughout your week that makes you feel as your happiest self.

Treat yourself! Because you are worth it.


And last but not least, don't listen to your limiting beliefs. The old beliefs that you might have made before. The ones that may be about your life or circumstances.

The only limit is the one you set for yourself and those things!! (Read that again as many times as needed. Xx.)

Currently: It's Tuesday evening, the last few days there have been more hummingbirds fluttering about, drinking the sugar-water delight. Watching them always makes me happy.

In day or so, I will be planting some lovely flowers that were given to me by my sister.

There is good progress I am making for my new book, and I look forward to sharing more on it on July 1st with all of you!

And not to mention a few other things in the works that I'm bursting to discuss. But can't just yet, but soon. I promise.

This sounds like a great topic to delve into. I think a lot of people mistaken being confident as being arrogant but that isn’t the case at all. I think self awareness and care is so important to. Looking forward to hearing this on your Podcast. https://www.bauchlefashion.com
